bumper will change ride as well because it adds more weight in front of springs

 

Parts guy called me last night..
Herd gave them the bird, so they are stuck with a WS Herd bumper! Apparently what Herd call a "drop frame" means a lower front cross member. Idiots.
So, anyone interested in a Herd Defender? My local dealer, who I have dealt with for over 10yrs now, are ordering me the "right" one from the wankers, but they are stuck with the "wrong" one. Said I'd put the feelers out for them, so hopefully someone will buy it from my dealer.
Columbia Freightliner 800 888 0525. Tony said he can measure all the brackets to make sure it fits your Star.

Well if they say you have a "drop frame" then I KNOW it won't fit my Lowmax lol

 

Their version of a drop frame, is where the front tow hook mounts. It isnt the frame at all! Totally idiotic, but they make the best bumpers this side of Australia so I guess they can be.
Take some measurements and see if it will work, may be a Herd bumper for a good price in Mo!

I have a boltless stainless steel on there now, so I'd have to remove the entire bumper to measure. I'm not that energetic lol
