Let's talk cell phones!

I live in NYC, when i get home its quite usable

 

So I've been testing cricket and I will say its not perfect. I was in Black River Falls WI last night and I had no service. Actually spent most of the day without service till I was in Iowa but I was driving back roads not main roads. (I will say I still have my verizon account and it worked in all these places.)

Its worked very well in Canada. they don't limit it to 4mbit/s when you're on 3g instead of LTE but still has the 8mbit limit just like when in the US. You're IP address stays in the US so you're not locked out of US content. (Does mean I can watch Canadian only content on netflix but not that big of a deal.)

I'm still on the fence about switching fully over but the savings will likely have me push though with it.

 

I had both sprint and verizon.

then i got a new phone and found verizon to have my areas then with the old phone. Didn't get a sprint phone to test out the expanded coverage.

Now i'm local again and went back to sprint. No longer have a need for verizon.

 

What flip phone service would you recommend if one is only using their cell phones to call other people and receive calls from other people only?

This flip phone service would have to be good in all 48 states and all of Canada and Alaska, in every type of location whatsoever: mountains, valleys, congested cities, and the most desolate areas as the great plains or out in the deserts as Death Valley.

There would be NO texting, NO e-mails, NO games, NO gps, NO frills, and NO other extras of any type whatsoever.
