Geebus..... I'm not too particularly fond of both places you mentioned...whatever trips your trigger buddy.....
I saw a stainless steel percolator in Walmart today. Can you use it with a converter in your truck? I didn't flip it over to see the power consumption, but you could put your coffee in a thermos to keep it from getting old. The longer coffee is subjected to heat after it is brewed, the nastier it can get. I like my coffee black 99% of the time. NO FLAVORED COFFEE!!! I just want to gag when I smell flavored coffee. I worked with a guy that would brew some sort of van. coffee each morning...I would wak in the work room and nearly gag. Best truckstop coffee is either Farmerbros, or Maryland Club. Worst coffee...Maxwell House.
If you are in La and Tx a good coffee is also a Community blend. It is made in Baton Rouge and is one of the few coffees that still give you a full pound (16 oz) package. I like the "in between roast". Pick some up when you pass through the south and take it home and enjoy it. You can also order it on line from what I understand.
I have been drinking coffee for 43 years and I do believe I have found the best brand in the world..... I just recently made this discovery...
Yeah, I am not a huge coffe drinker but when I need to stay awake, nothing beats good old Tim Hortons, sorry but I have yet to find anywhere in the United States that tastes as good as Tim Hortons, and you can find one in every town in Canada
