    Check it out if you don't believe me. When your blood sugar gets over 300, you automatically start "spilling over" into your kidneys to pee out the excess glucose. Why do you think one of the first signs of diabetes is frequent urination?

    You shouldn't get up to pee in the middle of the night unless you are drinking large quantities of water or you're drinking a bunch of soda or alcohol and jacking your blood sugar up. Check out the research if you don't believe me. Dr. Oz himself will tell you that. :yes2557:

    Yeah, I understand what you're saying. I'm a 65 yr old male and read a lot about anything/everything. When I wake up in the middle of the night to turn over, I usually need to go, not urgently, but getting up and going makes it easier to get back to sleep. I've seen guys go all day or night without going. But I can't. And I don't have diabetes or prostate problems.
