    Does anybody know if a BorgWarner S410G turbo is the same as the 177148 for a E model Cat ?
    According to this website I'am looking at they claim its the same turbo.. but I would like some input before I comment to buying it..
    I'am wanting to put it on a B model prefix is 7FB.. and the turbo is junk on it now
    Thanks for any info

    Why? That is snake oil, they take a charger that already works and spools well and add some crap inside the turbine housing that takes away useable area.

    You wouldn't have been any better off, 177148 is a great charger and is a S410G.

    Its a long story on this turbo.. I've been a week trying to get a turbo which isn't a real issue because this is a project truck.. its suppouse to get here tomorrow if I could figure out how to post pictures on here I would put pictures up of what the turbo that I took off looked like . I need to get this truck on a dyno I guess

    Not in my opinion, works very well, no boost lag, higher boost, and strengthens the force of your Jakes. Don't be so quick to bad mouth something if you don't understand it.
