Let's Vent

Probably a company truck gov at 58 on the petal and 62 on cruise. And he was probably just trying to get a run at the hill at 62 on cruise but if your too close in front the ongraud won't allow the truck to throttle up until following distance is increased so the speedometer does a nose dive as soon as you hit the hill. But if you change lanes and get it clear out front then you can get some throttle and climb at a reasonable speed. Maybe he wasn't trying to pass just get up the hill. Then again I wasn't there so I don't know how bad held up traffic.

 

How about you pick a speed. Seriously, pick one. Our drivers all work hard and do the best with what they can do at 62.

When I was on the road and I was being passed by someone who wanted to go 1 MPH faster and they were dogging it up the side with traffic behind them, you know what I did? I dropped it and helped them because we're supposed to be brothers out here.

Those dry van that have auth guys try to run light. I think what he was saying was prime was fully loaded and either tried to pass or get a run at the hill. In that situation heck I'd of bumped it up too there's no reason I have to sit around and wait for someone else to get up the hill when I'm light or empty.

Thank you! There is not enough of that out on the road. Everyone wants to 'race', and in the mean time nobody else is getting anywhere because the 2 holding things up aren't willing to give into each other.

If I try and pass someone, and they speed up on me, I back down and drop behind them again...if the driver seems like they are playing games with me, I will jump off at an exit and let the ####### get on down the road a ways so they can screw with someone else.
If someone is trying to pass me when we both have our cruise set, and they hang next to me too long, I will attempt to convers with them via CB, and ask if they are gonna "get it done" or what...if they say that's all they got, or don't answer at all, and I see traffic piling up behind them, I will back down and let them pass---I'm not trying to race anyone...and I want you away from me.

 

..... when will the madness stop... we will eventually all be governed at 65! And just think swift trucks are governed at like 60 so why is me going 58 affectING your day that bad?... get on down the road shut your dang mouth and leave me alone I don't bother yall when your doing 85mph in a 55 mph construction zone do I?

 

If someone wants to go faster then me even one mph I will back off and.let them bye faster just dont get in front of me and go slower then what I reset my Cruz control at I hate that

I'm amazed at the lack of brotherhood I've found out here. I was all excited to get a cb radio and everything! I guess the life has gone straight to crap.
