I get flipped off every day every time I have to deliver to any place on a main drag with no room to turn around in their lot. That means either backing in or out, and I certainly know which one I prefer.

    Shippers??? **** **** with those ***** shippers!

They can really **** your plans! Get into a shipper on time and guess the **** what?

"Oh your load isn't ready yet. They haven't even started on it and there are twelve other loads ahead of yours."

"Can you give me a ballpark figure as to when I could expect to be done?"

    "Could be my noon tomorow."

    "May I park here overnight?"

"No! We don't want drivers parking here over night! You'll have to go down to the pilot, they have truck parking."
    Ok now I'm rambling.

    Receivers????

**** receivers **** **** make about as much sence as screen door on a submarine sometimes.

Only seven **** pallets and they take nine **** hours to unload ya. Then they want $250.00 **** for a lumper fee.

How about drop and hook loads at either shipper or receiver?

Provided the drop trailer is hunkey dorey enough to meet the satisfaction of Nitpicky Nancy the Selfrightious Security guard; you drop it in the area of the yard where she tells you to go.

Just as soon as you're ready to pull away from the trailer, Squeaky McGee the spotter driver zooms in and hollers that you're put it in the wrong spot. He tells you to put it in the narrow spot between the overflowing dumpster and the crumbling edge of a 100 foot cliff.

    (I'm exaggerating obviously)

Anyway, even with all the **** I have to put up with I love this job. Being able to do a job without a **** lead looking over my shoulder or dealing with buddy buddy nepotism and favoritism is **** awesome!

I call the shots, I decide what tunes to listen to, I decide when to take a pee break.

My fellow drivers, sometimes we have a lot of **** we have to deal with. Sometimes Plans go smooth as silk. It's all part of the world of driving a truck. Learn to deal with it. Keep your happy high and stress low...

Oh, also remember even though all these other companies are out there it doesn't mean that they are enemies. Think of them as extended family,

Be good to one another, take care and drive safely.
