While I agree with her letter, several of her comments caused me to disregard her.
1. "Turned several shades of red". Ashamed because her father made a honest living driving a truck.....
2. Didn't ACTUALLY volunteer for the job....others did and she felt "forced" to do so.
3. Has never worked for anything in her life. School due to a car accident, married a "white collar worker". Just another "entitled" person.
My father made a honest living serving thirty years in the USAF...I would NEVER turn several shades of red and throw him to the side.
Sorry for the off-topic rant

The letter by "Michelle Webster-Hein" sickens me.
No, not because of the urine bottles found discarded on the roadside grass (btw, that's uncalled for & ignorant,, period!),
but because she clearly used the majority of the letter to tout her elitist "nose pointed up in the air" attitude.
She claims she's a "social climber", was embarrassed after telling her elitist college class that her father was a truck driver, she was awarded $50,000 for an accident she was involved in (tho doesn't mention or sound that "injured"), and married a "white collar" fella (who probably can't straighten her toes).
She negatively generalizes truck drivers (bottom-line boss, 4 hungry kids, and a possible speed snorter), while admitting "truth is that I have no idea what youre going through. Ive never made a cramped bed in the back of a truck cab." She refers to "making the bed", not even the normal use of SLEEPING in it. Goofy ######.
Did I mention she also has a cat that told her to stop spending too much on sushi? Yes, she's that disgusting.HotH2o and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this. -
Any young person would turn a few shades of red if their peers laughed at them about anything. I think she has outgrown her being embarassed about her trucker father. I think she is trying to understand truckers though honestly acknowledges she comes from a "privileged" position.
halfburn and MZdanowicz Thank this. -
Next week I'm taking the 55 gallon trash drums of the fuel island and putting 35 gallon trash cans instead. When a driver throws 10 16 oz bottles full of piss in the trash and another driver after him throws his full gallon jug in the same trash can it's to much weight.
Unfortunatly using a bottle has taken priority over using a bathroom.KW Cajun and crabcracker Thank this. -
As to the op that is a well written letter. I would have no problem having it posted or even part of the orientation papers drivers get but as has been stated, the people it is addressed to don't care. The same as the second letter. They don't know and if they did know they don't care so we do what we feel moved to do. -

Young,old,middleaged...I don't turn red if someone laughed at what my father did. I correct them. The man supplied his family needs, all 10 of us.
All 10 of us pursued higher education, and not at some "elitest" school.
Can you read between my lines and detect some distaste over the "elite" entitled crowd?
Once again, sorry for the off-topic rant.
I think Anthony is putting this thread on ignore.KW Cajun and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this. -
Miss high society ashamed of her father slave to peer pressure Paris Hilton wannabe should be more ashamed of how the typical motorist drive than pee bottles. -
I was going to comment, but I'm still looking up some of the words in her letter.
