you really don't need tools. a visual inspection will tell you how low they are getting.
but i would think they either pass or fail. not borderline both preventing you from getting a sticker.

I would say the officer is more weasel than man. Either the brakes were legal or they weren't. Seeing as the driver passed his inspection he is owed the sticker.Raiderfanatic, MUSTANGGT and cetanediesel Thank this.

Arizona made a mint, was at the Pilot in Bellemont and lost count of all the trucks put out of service. One poor guy got a clean inspection but the officer found a receipt in his trip work where he had bought antifreeze for the truck while he was getting other things. Of course he didn't log the 15 minutes for purchase, thus log book violation

A 5 gallon bucket of Vaseline if your boss don't take care of your equipment lol.Fredlikestrucks Thanks this.

you mean they just came in. and inspected yall? -
I heard they were escorting trucks into Bellemont to the shop. DOT wasn't the only ones doing well out there.
-
But that wouldn't be a log book violation cause he obviously took less than 7 min to do that...
-
Last year I passed Level 1's in MO and KY and they told me they were out of stickers .
-
Still a violation. Events of less than 15 minutes can be "flagged" with the time taken written in remarks, eg., "6 minutes."RickG and airforcetoo Thank this.

I agree, but that was a little far; that DOT guy was really taking it to the extreme don't you think?!?MJ1657 Thanks this.
