Sounds like you did not do a log for all the days that you were off duty. You have to give an account for every day.

 

Did you have the codriver name filled out on the logbook before going off duty?

 

OP is right. Depending on the brand of ELD, you can go back at least 2 weeks. I know that some of the brands that you buy in the truck stop or wherever will show activity going back longer than 7 days. The Omnitracks only shows the previous 8 days.

 

If they were not tied together, was his eld connected to the ECM? Or was it just an app running on a tablet?

 

I'm still stuck on it was 3 weeks ago. And if you were in the in the truck, you should have been in sleeper berth or off duty.
