In the future, every load will have a registration # and the trucks and trailers will have a transponder. The driver will use his/her bar code reader gun to assign the load to the trailer and the truck, and whether it is a team or single, when picked up. Transponder readers in a Starlink type sat system will be able to follow the load and tell if the truck is speeding, violating HOS, etc. There will be no exemptions.
goga Thanks this.
