All commercial combo vehicles in every state only have one license plate. It goes on the front of the truck. I pulled hot shot with my F4 50 I only had one license plate and it was on the front. When I didn't have my trailer connected you could clearly see I did not have a license plate on the rear bumper. I did have a plate that said commercial vehicle. That told officers that the plate was on the front of the truck.

Same here in Florida. We had an F-550 with the plate in front because it was registered as a CMV. Got stopped one time and I simply told the officer "this is actually a CMV, you can even see the DOT/MC numbers on the doors. State law says I run my single plate up front." Never got a ticket, and never had a problem since.

So this may seem silly, but I am a power only unit, do not own a trailer and Georgia only issues one plate for the truck, Class 8 truck, I think GA says all tags go in rear, so am I required to have my plate on the front or not?
