Now never did I say he was illegal did I. You need a little reading comprehension friend. Letter didn't pertain to me because I am a natural born US citizen therefore my requirement is meant why read what they are for people that aren't me. I was merely telling the OP to dig a little deeper as he may have got the new girl at the DMV. Be careful about throwing stones and living in a glass house.

Now my statement was does this country actually give a class d license to illegals. I was really under the impression you have to go thru the entire naturalization process to hold a CDL not just a work visa. He stated he has a green card, does that make him a naturalized citizen? He may can obtain one today tomorrow or next week. I'm just asking him to look into it a little deeper to make sure he gets his monies worth out of it. Pardon me for the intrusion

Wore out, go back and read what you wrote.

"Hard for me to believe they give drivers license to illegal aliens..."
Were you were responding to the OP? Or, if not, who?

How about this one from your last post...
"Now my statement was does this country actually give a class d license to illegals. I was really under the impression you have to go thru the entire naturalization process to hold a CDL not just a work visa."

A class D (C in CA) is a normal car, not a CDL. That would be a Class A.

You really need to do some reading, and comprehending.
Because the 'impression' you are under seems nothing to do with reality.

Of course, if you could site some actual regulations I may change my mind.
Even some scripture might do it.

I'm not gonna argue with you. I was asking a couple of general questions not pointed at anyone. I can see you got it all figured out though

You asked a question about the OP's right to have a CDL.
You then made another remark about illegal aliens.

You can't say that your comments were not directed at anyone, and be telling the truth at the same time.

    nickgouws Thanks this.

I looked it up. The federal requirements are permanent US residency or citizenship. The OP stated he has that.

Moosetek you don't know me and have absolutely no right attacking my character in that manner. I never said a word about the OP. Man wants to work he has that right. Did you notice the question mark in my first post. That meant I was asking a question not making a statement. So much for your reading comprehension. Now let's drop this unless you care to meet for coffee. A simple I'm sorry will do

Sorry I did forget the question mark. However still doesn't give you the right to jump to conclusions about me

I wasn't jumping or attacking, I was just calling you on it.
I guess a missed question mark might make all the difference.

To me it looked like you were the one on the attack against the OP.

    Hi Chinatown,
Thanks so much for taking the time to respond, I really appreciate it. I am thinking about going to Vincennes University - they have a six week program (240) hours. it will cost around $4000 and includes a Forklift essentials course. I actually got OSHA certified on nearly every PIT (walkie, Sit-down, stand-up, Clamp, Reach etc) in September, 2015. I am hoping this will help me get a local job, currently working in a warehouse.
