Lie about experience?

If it takes you three companies just to get a year of experience,that's going to look really bad for you when you try to get that local job or any other truckin job.

 

As far as the date you said you looked on swifts web site,im guessing a employee link could very well be a different date then what they reported on your DAC.

 

I don't think what he has done will hurt. Basically he got his CDL through Swift then went with Schneider so he could pull tankers.

 

Ya, SWIFT is great,you get to deal with "the Drill Seargents at Costco.

 

I used to hate this. Having to come up with dates and whatnot. So, I now have 2 word documents. One has every job I've done for the past 15 years with addresses and phone numbers for company and supervisor, and exact starting and end dates. The other does the same but for home addresses. I move way too often.

Well don't get a head of yourself about doing anything wrong your on hear to see if anyone else will justify you lying.that speaks of someone character it's like the girl at the counter giving you an extra dollar back in change and you sticking it in your pocket and she ends up losing her job. If you do what's right you don't need anyone else to justify it

 

Swift screws everything up. This should not surprise anybody who has dealt with them.

Chinatown has the right idea. Your looking to make an impression with an application. As such in this day where their is no lack of workers for any job, an employment gap of even a couple weeks can raise an issue with a pencil pusher that will distract from an application without good reason. It is just some office troll making something out of nothing, chances are exact dates will not even be checked unless there is an employment gap. So don't worry about it, fill in the application like they want it to read and get on with life.
