Plus there are those law men that have a vendetta against trucks... They will go out of their way to shut you down. Even if it means they sabatoge your truck while he is performing a level 1 on your butt.outerspacehillbilly and Wiseguywireless Thank this. -
It's not lying, it's creative fiction!

If your logs are squeaky clean, then you work for a 3000+ truck company. You win if you say so.
God forbid you ever achieve your goal and get out on your own. Best of luck brother. -
I'll admit that my logs got "creative" in the past. Depends on who you work for, and the kind of driver you want to be. I've done it, and got lucky. I didn't hurt, or worse KILL anybody. "Creative" logging will not only get you into trouble, it makes you a danger to everybody on the road. You wind up driving when you should be sleeping, and no load is worth anybody's life. As far as paperless logs go, Werner has them, Wal*Mart's private fleet has them, I think Swift and U.S Express has them but don't quote me on that, and I heard Prime is testing them. Stay safe, stay legal, and log it as you do it.

There's a LOT of room between 11 hours and dangerous. I don't know anyone who sleeps 13 hours a day who's older than 15.

Truck driving is classified by the Department of Labor as as unskilled labor. So dont get caught up in that "Professional Driver" garbage.
-
I believe it's "semi-skilled" (ha ha Semi)
Anyway either you're an amateur and not getting paid for it, or it's your profession.
