Haha. I can't blame you. With van I had so much downtime waiting to be loaded/unloaded I was able to watch 4 episodes of IRT in one sitting once haha
True. This morning was a huge hastle. But after I had my tarps done and got in the truck it was smooth sailing. Lol

Yeah we made it through ok no issues except we are waiting on our drug screens.....funny thing is they have a grand total of 5 dispatchers...who double as planners and most of the staff still drives lol...its so laid back here....oh and the insides of the truck are speced out..

The Wyker I was talking to the other day says he's calling it quits in 3 years. It must suck there.
-
Man does it feel different to drive the speed limit for once...LOL....and PASS people.....it is taking more time to trip plan...cause I have to figure out my routing...unlike you Roehl guys who are busy right now trying to decipher f'd up directions...I get to make my own...and toll Roads are not really a big issue...but I try to avoid if I can...
Treefork Thanks this. -
Passing and going the speed limit? Like some crazy fantasy. I was daydreaming of being able to pass people today.Mic and DrtyDiesel Thank this.

Delivered my first Van Wyk load of Tyson ham at 42k. In the heart of Chicago at that. I echo Mic's comments on MPH but can see keeping over speed below 5% may be a challenge... LOL!

Yeah trying to keep her @65 is a challange on the KS turnpike...but I put her in 13 and set the cruise at 65...and drive....and everynow and then I have to pedal to 68 to go around someone with a quickness...but remember Notez its restarts every 2 weeks...so its not so bad...
Right now I am sitting at a shipper in Oklahoma going to Front Royal VA by monday morning.....shouldn't be too hard of a run...but pays well I was told...If I planned it right.....and the pieces fall right I should only have to take 1 break with an option for 2 and still be good to hook... -
Quite to the contrary my friend. We are not a hand holding company and expect a driver to know how to do their job and make decisions without being told what to do. If you do your job & act like an adult you'll do fine. It's like everything else, it works for some but not for others.

Yah, that was a joke. 3 years and he's hanging it up. Says he makes good money but would like a bit more home time.

65 cruise and 68 on the floor??? Oh the feeling of actually doing the speed limit. That must be a great feeling. I have to admit I am jealous. Of course, you can keep the reefer. My skateboard is too much fun!
