Well it's been a while since I last posted, but I'm on a reset in Reno and figured what the hell.

So far I really don't have any complaints. I really like all of my fellow drivers, there is a true sense of brotherhood. Loads have been varied and I rather like that. I've enjoyed driving this big hood and love to tarp all the different machinery and other freight we get.

It's especially important to me to be home in time for my military commitments and they have been very understanding and willing to get me home, even when freight has been slow. I'm very much looking forward to the summer and I plan on staying here for a while.

A little background of my driving career, I never went to TMC or Melton to throw tarps or learn securement their way. My first flatbed job was with a mom n pop out of Albany NY and the first time I threw a tarp it was inside out and backwards, so having the ability to call other drivers here at Kaiser to seek advice is very helpful. Not that I don't know what I'm doing, but when it came to tarping a coil I was clueless. Haha.

Anyways, I'll try and be more active if people are still interested. So far I love it and hope more people apply to see if they have what it takes.

I can't tell you how many times in the 15 or so years that i ran flatbed I've done this. Which is one of the main reasons I don't run flatbed anymore.

Yeah its not safe, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. When I was flatbedding Conestoga tarp systems weren't that abundant

I've been curious where he disappeared to. With his enthusiasm at the beginning then just disappearing makes one go hum.

A little update for everyone. Been busy with some military #### but work goes well. Got the ol girl traded in for a new green one, got some chrome and what not to go with it. Still enjoying my time here, got my safety bonus which was a nice extra check in the wallet. Don't have too many complaints, sorry for takin a while to get back to y'all. Here are some pics of the last couple trips

Nice roadrum. It's all about being happy where you're at. Not what others think. My company can't keep drivers more then 4 months but I'm happy. Of course now every load I get is a tarp load but I'll get over it I guess lol. 20160602_074319.jpg
