I don't know anything about the employment contract but I'm sure someone else can comment. Congrats Dennis. If you see truck 7916, come say hi. My truck is nice except the cruise control switch is flakey. The cruise will not work 60% of the time. My ac outlets will only work if the apu is running which makes the outlets kinda useless since nites like tonite and last nite, I don't run it. It means they also don't work when the truck is running. That also makes getting a fridge out of the question also since I think the fridge requires more than the 300 watt inverter I have. It plugs into lighter so it's allowed by Roehl.

I would think you would have signed it before you went to school. I am glad I won't owe anyone. That may be a good thing or a bad thing. -
grc56 I am not an expert on the inverter outlets of the APU equipped trucks, I leave my control on (with the A.C. button off). When you use an appliance and the battery level gets down to a preset vevel the APU will start and away you go, also to start the APU you can turn on the AC and set the temp to its lowest setting which should start the APU. I use a microwave from home (110 v)and have hot meals in a few minutes. Just remember to turn off the control (or turn the ignition key to the on position) when fueling. The cruise on my truck will not set if I am going faster than 61 MPH or if it was left on the last time I stopped. Usually if you turn it off then back on then set it will work.

I didn't go to Roehl school ..... my APU is the older Rigmaster it's different from the trippak ...... ther is no setting for the ac outlets ..... they only work if the apu is running ...... I had my alarm clock plugged in to check it and when I turned on the truck, the outlet goes dead

GRC ~ We had a loaner back in July that had a Rigmaster. There is a way to have it running while you are traveling down the road, but for the life of me I can't remember how to set it like that. And if I remember right, the AC outlets should work as long as the APU unit is on...not just while it's running. We only had it for a week so I'm a bit hazy on it. Did your truck still have the owners manuel & stuff in it?

there is no manuals to be found .... I'd like to have the ac outlets working full time so can get a fridge ..... the cooler has to stay out of the fridge hole so enough air circulates for it to cool
-
thanks for all the suggestions .... I guess I've been pretty tired and getting fustrated easily ....

If you put "rigmaster manual" into Google, the first result is the manual. If you don't want to save it, you can view it in HTML but there are no pics. There is a troubleshooting section, maybe it will help. Also, one of the mechanics at Marshfield (Kevin I think), is the Rigmaster master...you could try calling in and talk to him.

thanks ... I've downloaded the manual

It may have changed but when I was there you had to log a certain amount of miles for them to start prorating anything otherwise you will owe the full amount.
