They must be planning on getting you something else out of Oak Creek. That or they want to start some Milwaukeean out with that. The Cottage Grove yard is the only one on the way from here to Plainfield.

Thanks Grc. One question I do have is does roehl put you on a skid pad, or do any winter time training? I was told central just has you watch movies. Unless you go during winter time. Just was curious. I know here where I live, they local tech school has you go on a skid pad before you get your liscense. I would assume this would make one more knowledgeable and feel much more comfortable out there in the winter. Thanks again GRC. and Katt, try central.

I already had my CDL so I don't know if Roehl does that during their training

If we have a skidpad, I haven't found it yet.

Im surprised more companies don't do that. I would assume it would make people feel more safe.

well I have been approved at Roehl. Cant wait to get started. I'm working on my CDL permit and they say I can start around the end of October or first of Nov. which will put me with a trainer during the winter months. I have read different forums and visited numerous company websites and Roehl seems to be at the top of the list. The people at Roehl has been great. Laura in adminastration has helped me greatly with all my paperwork. So far it has been a very good adventure.

Hi everyone, im hoping to join roehls cdl training school. I faxed my application in yesterday, should I still call them or just wait to hear from them. Also I have a few speeding tickets on my class D licenses and 1 misdermeder ( I drove off without paying for gas when i was 19 , young and dumb, i never do that anymore lol.) Will they not accept my applaication because of this? I hope not , i really want to work for roehl.
