State laws allow for one to buy a casket, and the funeral homes must accept that. I could not afford one, so I stole a cardboard refrigerator box from a homeless person and lived in that to see if I could get used to being cooped up in a tiny area. I suggest you either get a casket or such a box and try it for a few hours, then you tell us how it is. Remember though, I already know "life in a box".:biggrin_25522:

back when I ran coast to coast, I had a satellite tv hookup. only cost an extra $5/month as I had it at home.

no,I'm regional and home weekends and during the week. just me and my books and the radio.

12V cooler for food and I'm set.

that's the part where I'd be happy. make a decent living, be home on weekends for stuff. If something came up and I had to stay out an extra week here or there it wouldn't be bad

Considering you drive all day long and then sleep all night long (in that box) I always wanted to get out for awhile when I had a chance. Never could figure out guys who layed in their bunks all day/night only getting out to wee-wee etc.

look at semi retired sleeper try living in one like that. its either a 36 or 40 inch bunk and i am guessing but you might have to jump through the hole to get in to it. it just kills me to hear a new driver with a freightliner condo say there is not any room in them. i have know idea what they are carrying around with then to fill one of those up. be safe out there

"semi" retired, Numb and Chinatown Thank this.
