Well I think if I ever order a truck I'll only order a single drive axle and put a lift on the truck and the trailer. I know it'll be fun in adverse weather. But if its that bad out I usually shut down anyway. I don't run alot of empty miles. But I do run alot of light miles

I will let you know shortly. I have two flat's with the leveling valve on front axle instead of rear so I will have to lift the rear's.MJ1657 Thanks this.

We only run closed tandems with some sliding front axles.....anyways two guys ordered a rear lift and man can they ever get into some tight parking spots.
areelius Thanks this. -
One thing to consider with the tag axle on the truck is if the weather gets bad and you have a heavy load on you can dump your tag shifting most of the weight on to one drive axle. That would help out greatly with traction. If you have locking axle you will have even more traction with all the weight on the one axle.
