You might have a false sense of all airbags being inflated, if three are inflated then the 4th would look like it is as well on the tandems. Each and every one needs to be checked individually. I would start there.
Numb, Flat Earth Trucker and tscottme Thank this. -
Is it possible you broke the leveling rod? If all the bags are down you need to check it, if the truck was bouncing up and down when you were trying to get traction it could have snapped off.
Nevermind, I see where you said the bags are inflated still.Last edited: Dec 27, 2022

"Limp home mode", by gar, that means different things to different people. To a drunk, it's the worst part of the night, to me, it's a hose clamp around a duct taped fuel or air line, or that inside dual that's flat, hoping the outside holds. Good luck, pal.

i have the Mack Anthem, if i dump the air bags to drop a trailer and forget to flip the switch
back up that is what it does, i flip the switch back up , and it and it goes back to normal,
should be about the same on the Volvo, i do have electrical glitches, with some of the
switches, and warning buzzers, from time to time , especially in conditions you
described, or when it has been rainingCoffey Thanks this. -
Check the leveling valve for loose or damaged wiring. Spinning the drives when you got stuck could have thrown ice and/gravel up and hit the wiring harness to the valve.
