It's a union terminal, but they can't keep any drivers. Trucks and or trailers break down about every 3 days.

We are 1200 miles north and have the same issues.
Drivers sometimes wait 2-3 hrs for equipment.
Really frustrating , but we as drivers have no control on the corporate decisions that reduce equipment or eliminate maintenance positions in the misguided utilization/ efficiency chase.
We just sit in the drivers room and chuckle at the decisions a suit makes in New York while we collect our guaranteed wage.

Hopefully Messer will change the jobs of some of these suits.

It's a shame that input from people with extensive knowledge is never sought out.
    I have 4 yrs left.
They will hopefully still be in business then..lol

You will be in a hurry trust me.

We used to be a herd of mixer trucks going to our plant from Searcy in the morning at top speed. If you were aint moving after a job someone snitches on you.

Started this week with messer seems pretty easy once you get use of the work pay is good for local trucking if you learn how to work it. My only worry is they look for reasons to fire you seem like it only 2 or 3 guys been there over 10 years most guys took they pensions and quit do to the cameras. And you guys are right messer has a lot of fixing to do we barely have equipment at the site I'm at most drivers relax and weight but you can get Screwed and have to sleep out if you have a long run. Overall not a bad job just have to learn the linde/messer way

Hope it's a better gig or at least something with no micro management...
