No guys, recommend a linear for him, so when he starts keying up with that 150watt dead-key, he fries the finals in the amp![]()

Hhhmm...does it matter where you are located when he keys up and pegs your meter?
I'm guessing you have a mobile and not a base station? -
hmm, if the OP is in the Denver area, wonder if he's talking about Triple 7 or whatever he goes by now. Scumbag CB operator

I have seen several of these supposed 150 watt cobras so far there not even close. You do not need a linear you need a real radio tech to tune up your radio. It's about clear clean crisp loud audio to get thru the garbage not brute horsepower.

Sorry didn't read it close enougth......

The last time i ran 1,000 watts was when i played with moonbounce ..... -
Well I'd love to see a Cobra 29 that would deadkey 150 watts by itself!

Somebody sold you a BIG LINE OF ##### along with that radio when you bought it. -
On the back side of the radio it has a linear built in. It has a silver streak 150.
-
It still won't do 150 watts at deadkey and while talking. You would have no modulation. Also with that silver streak 150 it won't deadkey 150 watts, it might swing 150 pep.
-
okie then since it swings 150 watts. then what is my deadkey??
