Man dont wast your money. No matter how you spend their will always be someone with more power than you. thats just the way it works.
But if you want to find this ### then all you have to do is ride around with the radio on but with the coax unpluged from the back of the radio, Just dont key your mike while your doing this! Anyway.Watch your meter and when you see that it is showing a big signal then you have found the guy. Next come back at night and push a straight pin into the middle of his coax, push it completly through so that it comes out the other side. The next time he keys his mike up with the straight pin in his coax he will blow his amp and his radio!
Problem solved.

If your "lucky" you might be getting 75-80 net watts from that 150.
Assuming its a 2 pill 1446 unit.
Your dead key is likely somewhere around 4-6 watts, could very well be lower but I'm guessing whoever set up the radio is pushing the box pretty hard for maximum "sell"

You must live in the East Chicago, IN side. If you're talking about that guy who does nothing but get yelled at by truckers everytime he keys up, and goes on and on about how hes a trucker and channel 19 is for truckers (aka HIM and only HIM) and that everyone else doesnt matter. Besides the fact that hes wasting channels 18 and 20 when hes on 19. If he's running as much power as this idiot, look for the antenna. He's probably the only one in town besides you with a base antenna. Confront him like a man instead of acting like a little kid. Besides that, he can find YOU just as easily, so you really aren't accomplishing anything by hiding behind a mic, hooked up to a 50 foot antenna...
Also, if you got a linear you would NOT be able to use whatever you have in your CB. A stock CB has to be turned DOWN to LESS than legal settings to use a linear properly...unless its a "high drive" linear, and then...your 150 watts is still going to blow it up. So the size linear you get is all the power you're going to run with it.
And SOMEONE is going to confront you eventually...Perhaps with a chainsaw to your antenna. -
Remind me to stay on your good side.

150 watt Cobra interesting. You could use it to drive a straight 8 pill.
But there is a lot more to running that kind of power than plug and play.
But if all you are after is to get over the Moron, it's a waste of time and money.squirrellsgnwild Thanks this. -
No cobra is doing 150 watts the most ive seen is 13 watts deadkey also im dead keying 35 watts driving 4 2879 toshiba pills so you dont have to turn your radio down to run an amp if its a straight amp all depends on what amp your driving
