    Het act sorry for all that crap I was givein ya about that swift thing.I read that you you are going to ConWay truck load are you going to start a new thread about it? 80% of what I do over here at Trucks Inc is ConWay you will see are trailers at your terminals they seem to run a tight ship over there I really like pulling there stuff lots of hazmat loads.     I called my DM on Friday to give my 2 week notice ( company policy ). She agreed then called me back 30 minutes later and said Josh don't believe in given a trucking company any notice,to turn the truck in ( even if it is company policy ). She said to clean out truck while you home, picked up preplan and bring to Lakeland yard for repower. She sounded real sad when talking to me so I know she wasn't happy about it. So once I turn in truck, I'm heading up to Alabama to pick up my truck and bobtail it back to Miami to get it all set up to run..


    Well, I got approve for my own truck and signed on with an owner-operator who pulls drop deck trailers. He has a contract to pull military equipment coming in from overseas..He buys drop-deck trailers and hires owner-operators. So far I will be his 6th owner-operator. I think he has 2 drivers who does over-sized loads.. Real light loads ( 19,000 but no more than 30,000 lbs ) and pays 20x's what Link pays me. I'll be mainly running FL,GA and AL but mostly GA..

    iT'S OK TO BE A COMPANY DRIVER BUT IT';S NOTHING LIKE OWNING YOUR OWN RIG.BEING A COMPANY DRIVER FOR ME GOT OLD AND TIRESOME. I BEEN DOING TRUCKING FOR 15 YRS AND I CAN TRULY AND FINALLY SAY THAT I'M AN OWNER-OPERATOR.

    Well I believe I'll stay out of all this.


    Picked up this morning in zephyrhills. Sitting on motel in Pensacola. Deliver in AM and deadhead back to Lakeland.

    Lol true.. last time I was in Pensacola I was in orientation with May Trucking... I forgot how weird this town is... Went on a 3 mile walk and seen more bums then I ever have.

    Was also eating at waffle house.and couldn't help but to chuckle when the waitress excused herself to mow the grass.
