I see Link picked up a new account pulling Wal-Mart loads out of the DC in Statesboro,GA going to the DC in Shelby,NC..I went in there today and they were screaming for more empties..

 

Why wouldn't walmart just have us pull their trailers if they needed loads moved so bad? Then they can run empty back and get paid.

 

APU problems? Mine is having starter problems. Told it's a overheating sensor that might be bad.

Im going to take my orientation Aug/13... nice to meet every one here.... i dont write perfect.. im from PR but im doing my best...Thanks of god i complete my year and find this company because the company that im still working my last 2 week i dont win much money.... if someone can give me few tip... i will aprreciate... thanks guys

You show up late to orientation and they notice. You think it's a given, but a few did that last week and didn't make it past day two. First day a few minutes late because youre looking for right hotel is one thing, but two hrs late on day two marks you as a send home. Be honest with paperwork and experience and they'll work with you.

Be ready for physical day one. No caffeine, high intake of salt or sugar day before. No ibuprofen 24 hrs prior or you can get flagged with blood trace in urine because ibuprofen does that. Best to eat cheering or something morning of. Also, if you smoke, fight temptation and don't smoke while waiting for physical or one hr before. It elevates blood pressure and heartbeat. I treat it like a life insurance exam and I pass every time. Keeps my stress and nervousness down. Less flags the better.

If you can't eat pizza or pasta, tell recruiter now. Those are your lunches. Take money for dinner if staying at hotel. I ate at home since I live 45 min away.
