Home time was too short for me. I had too much to do and I didn't get the rest I wished I would have gotten... It never is long enough. Lol. Home Friday at 11 PM and was back in yard ready to go Sunday afternoon.
I checked yard and no empties. I go inside to dispatch and I'm told I have to wait in line for them. Three other drivers ahead of me in same situation. So they send one "Guinea Pig" to scout for trailers while I wait in the driver lounge. Several hours later I'm sent for an empty. Now I'm late for pick up and del. Anyway, heading to Lee, FL for pu then Conyers, GA for live unload. P'plan Atlanta to Indianola, MS. Two good runs to start the week.

I use my android for the internet. No laptop for me.
Got my load 8 hours early here in lee. Showering and heading up to austell for a 5 am at publix. Deadhead to covington after that for a 0700 Wednesday appt in ormond beach FL. Keeping steady as usual. -
I use my Android phone. Sprint offers hotspot service and I can connect my laptop to it and use the internet that way, but mostly just the phone. It does what I need.
Going to pick up here shortly I Atlanta then head to Super Value in Indianola. I haven't been there and apparently no one else because they don't have directions or a phone number to get into it. Now even a address. Hopefully the BOL has one then I can GPS my way in.
If it was a guy wearing a red shirt, that would be me. Was sitting there for several hours waiting for an empty. Lots of loaded trailers... -
Alot of our loads on the yard are local runs. When you get a mty and In Lakeland, hang onto it for dear life. If its a older trailer or past 6 months on a P.M., they will put a OOS tag on it. Right now there pulling anything older than a 2002 trailer that enters the yard so b cautious.
Shaggy76 Thanks this. -

What a messed up run from start to finish... Load plan said pick up anytime between 0005 and 2355. It was a 1200 appt. So I have to get worked in which had me running late for delivery. No directions in system for del. Finally someone from dispatch gives me directions after I called because they kept sending me directions to shipper. Well, they were wrong. They put me on a dirt road that said no trucks over 57750 lbs. Lol. They must have talked to the 18 year old that takes it as a short cut to work.
So I spend about an hour on the phone with night dispatch because there is no phone number or address for customer. Kevin is upset because customer service is always setting up loads like this he says. I find the place by mistake. I saw an industrial park and turned down the road so I can park while they looked for the place. I check in and told I have to get worked in for delivery. So here I wait. At least they are taking me today and I found the place. Got to have at least one bad load a trip so this should take care of it for the next couple of Weeks. Lol. I'm not preplanned yet. I'm guessing I will have something before I wake up.
