At least you have one. Truck is STILL in the shop and not one slip seat available, yet orientation had available trucks. Go figure... I'm not happy right now. Not at all. I'm beyond upset because they wouldn't switch me into another truck. Four from orientation had to take buses to Houston to get trucks.

 

Shaggy, I guarantee you if they going to Houston for trucks they plan on running them in the sw region. Call John Simone. I did when they kept flopping me around with DM's. I don't know who he called but now I got me a permanent DM and I'm flagged for Southeast only..Hey everybody there gotta boss and John is Da Boss.Call him and I bet you have a truck..

 

I called Russell and he said to call him back after truck is repaired so he can compensate me for downtime. He said he is going to make sure I get a decent check since this was out of my control and he got the VP of maintenance involved. My truck will be repaired today, per call I just got.

 

If any of you guys pick up soda out of Miami and it's going to Taylor Distributing in Jacksonville,FL be prepared to be there all day basically. No forklift only a pallet jack and dude gotta make room in warehouse...

 

I hear a rumor that I'm verifying tomorrow. Rumor is, if you run SW, you get $150 extra per week for volunteering. If rumor is true, I might volunteer for a couple of weeks to catch up on bills from this long shop down time... Also heard a rumor that there is a dedicated run that goes from Orlando to California and back. Hmmm... You know how driver rumors are. It's not spelled like tumors for nothing. Just like a tumor, I'm going to the source and confirming.

 

I been doing some soul searching and some real deep pocket thinking and I'm considering running the SW after Memorial Day..
