I just had a level 1 last month so they have been seeing our sticker and just waving us through....

 

I'm glad I didn't get one. I would have been oos per shop. They found a crack in exhaust manifold. Parts will be here tomorrow. I grabbed a load in Tampa that was going to Mobile and dropped it in yard while I waited for truck. Now I sit.

I go home Saturday. I might just tell them to send me home after truck is fixed and leave back out tomorrow. Maybe run a short load to the east coast like Port St Lucie or something and back. Then run hard for the week and back home next weekend. I'm going to try what Anj does and go home each weekend and see how I do.

I'm just glad truck will be completely repaired romorrow.

Oh, confirmed, southeast fleet will get 40 new trucks im August. All Internationals. Another 20 trucks around November, brand unknown. 120 between January and February. They will be getting rid of mid roof Freightliners first. Too many problems with them.

My old truck was in the shop. A/C problem. Lol. Steven said he is ready to junk it. They only have 2 parts left before entire system is new. Head unit and evaporator...

 

Picked up in Lee and weight was 79,400 and that's without fuel...Weight on BOL was 46,786. Drove through Ga and scale house on 95 was wide open..They were pulling trucks in left and right..

 

Truck is waiting for parts, so I came home. Preplanned tomorrow Zephyrhills to Miami. That is if truck is fixed.

Rumors that I confirmed im conference call today. I had one due to some company concerns. SE fleet is getting 40 new Internationals in August. Shop already told to order supplies for them. 20 in October and those will be Kenworths. 20 Freightliners in November. 120 on back order for January. That should have all the Freightliner mid roofs replaced by February. Then they will weed the others out mid next year. My Kenworth will be one of the last trucks to go.

nj, don't get too comfortable with your Pete. They are wanting to turn them back in. Too many problems with them. I heard this out of John Simone's mouth via call.

 

Called and told truck is ready. I can't wait to make some money again.

What is the quick way from Zephyrhills to Miami? 27 is just too slow.

 

27 is the only way...I mean once u get pass Sebring with all them lights it opens up...I live in Miami it pretty quick for me.
