Thanks for letting us know because we couldn't answer you with certainty.
I know they get knocked on a lot, but have you looked into Swift with their Phoenix to Fontana runs? They used to get home every weekend when I lived out there.

Hi, I'm about to go onboard with LA. I now work for Werner. I'm looking to be home more often but also get the miles. I live off of I95. Here at Werner I get miles but then I also get detain at terminals for repairs thus not making $$$ but instead spending it. Any advice before I jump in.

Only terminal we have in the SE is Lakeland. You'll see it mostly for dropping or picking up loads and your PM services.
Best advice I got is be patient. If you read most of the bad reviews, the complaints really never included bad miles. Most of it was communication issues. Remember we are going thru some heavy changes. all of the Dm's in Lakeland are new with the exception of 2 so be patient as they are learning. Constantly communicate your hours and etas and miles won't be a problem.
If you have issues don't be afraid to speak up. Alot of people get frustrated and just jump ship. You'll find out that our upper management want to know what's going on so they can get things fixed. -
I'm raising cane with dm to spank the driver that dropped this trailer in Lee with a flat tire and half the lights not working. You can tell the tire was flat for some time based on how it looked

We really need to get rid of these lazy drivers. Oh, he left a note of the problems on the front of the trailer...Now I miss my appt while waiting in line to get it fixed.

I've been screaming that for the past 17 months

Thanx. Also, how good or bad is the home time at Link America. Some companies require the driver to drop-off the Trk. at the terminal and drive home. Clock begins to tic the momment you leave the terminal. So if one has 24hrs and the drive home is 3, you are out of 6hrs+.

Im home most of the weekend. Over the course of 5 1/2 days im seeing 2500+ miles. But it can be dependant on whos board your on. Worst case scenario is 7-10 out and 34-48 home.
As long as you have a safe location for truck and trailer then you can take it home.zrock333 Thanks this.
