So as I understand it now, I have to go to the hotel and meet up with whoever is there, follow the van to the clinic, then I'm guessing we'll go back to the yard from there. Still don't see why I have to do another physical since my medical card is good until nov 2013

I've never understood that, either. I've found that there are a lot of companies that want a new physical done if your last one is more than 6 months old. Some want you to get another one even if you just got one the day before orientation.

The Friday before I did my orientation in Ft. Worth, they had me do my physical and drug screen at a doctor's office close to where I live. I started orientation on the following Monday, and by Thursday my drug test still hadn't come back. Apparently, the country doctor I saw (affiliated with my own doc, coincidentally) had to take my pee into town by horse and buggy or something!! So, they took me to Concentra for another one so I could finally get going.

    act6629 Thanks this.

I know SW start's at .36, and I'm told SE starts at .33. I didn't know they had an Interstate fleet, but that may be because they have enough drivers for that...not sure.

I did tell them when I hired on that I would be happy to run over to GA and FL if they needed someone to go there. I know both regions pretty well, and I still have family in both GA and FL.

So here's my week so far.

Sunday I picked up in groveland and delivered in Austell Monday morning. Ran over to atl and picked up a preloaded for Orlando. Got there yesterday evening and dropped . Ran up to lee and just got this load delivering to Athens GA by 0300. Preplanned Atlanta to Tampa tomorrow.I'll have about 1800 miles after that drop plus whatever I run Thursday and Friday. Also got one day layover pay for the wait to pickup this lee load.

Act I should see you Thursday morning

Preplanned to pick up in Neely's Landing and splitting it in Lakeland. It delivers Saturday in Miami. I can't wait to get to Neely's Landing in just over an hour and half. This container is too uncomfortable! Chassis is a spring ride and tires are bouncy. Junk...
