I'm still waiting for the official thumbs up and all of that, but if I'm cleared for orientation then yes.

I'm in Lake Park grabbing a meal. I'll be in the yard in about 4 hrs. Hopefully they'll bring you on board.

Hey fellas, this has been a helluva two weeks going on three. Let me tell you about it.

Last week 07/02, they deadheaded me from Miami, Fl to Monticello, MS to p/u a GP load out of there because they claim there's no loads in FL and GA. No problem, I was kinda glad because of the miles. My DM says to head up there,p/u load that's going to Alabama... OK..I get up Mississippi Wednesday morning by this time they still haven't send me no load info. I sat in Monticello, MS 2 days before GP finally dedides to release load. I go get check-in, head over to trailer inspection, they rejected trailer. Call DM, he's pissed and told me don't worry about it. So now they told me to deadhead all the way to Zachary, LA to p/u load out of GP in Zachary. I head over there, no load and GP in Zachary rejects same trailer. Call DM, told to take trailer to repair shop and bobtail to Houston, TX to pick up new trailer. I get to Houston, got trailer and told to deadhead back to Monticello, MS to pick up load at GP. Once again I was told that load was going to Alabama. I gets to Monticello to pick up load, it's going to Denver, Colorado..**** NOW THIS WERE IT GET'S INTERESTING ****

I come to find out that once your front steer tire crosses in Mississippi YOU ARE NO LONGER UNDER SOUTHEAST REGION DISPATCH.. You are now under SW DISPATCH..So now I'm pissed because It was understood that I didn't sign up for OTR or SW REGION. I signed up for SOUTHEAST REGION. So what I did was I didn't picked up the load. I waited until I had a fresh 11 on my drive and I went to the first Pilot or TA I saw. I did an unauthorized fuel stop, I filled up my truck and DEADHEADED MYSELF to Tallahasee,FL. By the time they realized it I was already in Tallahassee. I called my brother to come pick me up (cause he lives in Talalhasee). My DM called me, I gave him a piece of my mind and told him to take that truck and load and stick it up his ### . I told them I quit. He begging me not to quit and start apologizing for sending me out west. HE THOUGHT I COULD USE THE EXTRA MILES.. If I didn't tell you I need extra miles then dont ASSUME.. John Simone calls me, gives me a raise and promises me a new truck and PROMISES me that I will only run SE.

Well to make a long story short. I've gotten several job offers from diferent companies, paying more money and doing the same thing LKAM is doing. I've made up my mind that It's time for me to leave Link America not because of the past two weeks. BECAUSE I PUT IN MY HOMETIME FOR THIS WEEKEND AND TOLD MY DM THAT I NEEDED TO BE HOME SATURDAY MORNING BECAUSE I'M IN MY FRIENDS WEDDING. THAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF ME RUNNING TWO WEEKS TO GET AN EXTRA DAY OFF. WELL IM SITTING IN SOUTH CAROLINA WITH NO LOAD AND THEY CAN'T FIND NO LOADS..I guess you can tell I want be home in the morning and NOW MY FRIEND IS PISSED BECAUSE HE'S GONNA BE SHORT A GROOMSMAN!!! My DM blames it on the planners.. WOW!!!!

********* THIS IS MY BEEF WITH LINK AMERICA ****** IF I CAN KEEP MY END OF THE DEAL AND DELIVER EVERY LOAD U GIVE ME ON TIME, THEN IT'S ONLY FAIR THAT WHEN I ASK TO GO HOME AND BE HOME AT A CERTAIN TIME, SEND ME HOME!!!!!!!!!!! LINK AMERICA CAN'T DO IT. IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPEN BUT IT DEFINITLY WILL BE THEIR LAST...

If you have any problems or need some tips when you're with Swift, let me know in a PM. I just left there in Feb.

Bummer Big Brah. I would be upset, too. Especially if I said my home time was for special circumstances. Good luck to you and I suggest calling the new hotline to get you home.

The going out west deal was a learning experience for both parties. They learned not to send me out west and I learned not to take any loads going to Mississippi. Even though I deadheaded to Tallahasee was wrong but I had to stand my ground. But what upsets me is when I put in for my hometime request don't send me home when u feel like it or late. Send me home when I ask especially when I made all my deliveries on time for Link. One hand washes the other but I see LKAM DON'T CARE. This the third time they have done this. The last two times I kept quiet but this time I needed to be home and they couldn't deliver.. Now my DM is avoiding my calls.
