You are not going to be stuck without a job. There are over 450,000 trucking companies in the U.S. Texas is an excellent place to be a trucker also. Your best gig would be driving for the refineries but that may take knowing someone. Also don't bet on companies calling you back. Like I said before you need to put forth extra effort. This means calling back the companies everyday and checking on your applications. Another option out there in TX is cowhaulers. Lots of beef and livestock out there. Think outside the box! Ive applied on bigrigjobs and careeringear. Seems like most companies need you to be 22yrs old and atleast 1 year of experience OTR.

Got alot of calls today, from companys.

Jb hunt said after my 6 months i would have a job better then what i started with.

Werner called gave them all my info

Usa truck emailed me along with parkway, central, and stevens.

That school is so full of bs! I can do this on my OWN!

Central is a good company to go with. My wife and I drove for them and did really well. They went above and beyond on many occasions to help us out!
