Can't put something in your DAC file if you don't have a CDL and you do not have one just a permit to pursue getting one.

Averitt..i've heard more good than bad about. Ask @TROOPER to TRUCKER ... and as always, gotta love @Chinatown ! I'm having too much time on my hands being off for five...sorry!

Good luck to you, Driver.... Love Steely Dan also. BE SAFE.

I just like the idea of 1 reply answering the question. Which it did. "Nope" is the answer; there is no room for opinions on this one. Just a clean, simple answer. It's a beautiful thing. Of course, you and I can argue about how many replies is enough and what constitutes excessive. That could be fun I guess. We could see how long we can keep the thread alive despite the question getting answered right away. I guess that happens a lot on here, huh?

    G13Tomcat and pattyj Thank this.

Yea I used to work at a welcome center on i75 in kentucky and averitt drivers always seemed the happiest and never had anything bad to say about the company. Also like the idea of uniforms.

Me too. Looks a little better than pajamas and flip flops. I have found that I tend to get treated better by most shippers and consignees since I started wearing a uniform. You get treated like a professional when you wear one.

Some others have posted on here that went to Peak and had no problem landing a good job after graduation. Averitt may be ok for you, but have you looked at Milan Express?
Can probably make more money with Schneider Bulk though. Tanker division and they hire Knoxville area drivers. Get 6 months experience there then switch to A&R Logistics; big paychecks and weekends home. Check A&R Logistics website and see if that interests you.
