I would think if you never wanted to get out of your truck its perfect, but its nice to go home. when they are afraid put the price on the ad it automatically makes me think its overpriced.

What i don't understand is you can buy a 20 foot travel trailer that is 30 percent bigger than most of these sleepers and comes with axles and wheels with tires and brakes for 20,ooo all day long.
But you take a 12 or 15 foot ugly aluminum box and fill it with some cheap home Depot cabinets and slap it on the back of a semi and it is worth a hundred thousand.

A lot of those have custom cabinets and furnishings that beat those in most homes.

So what does that add to the price? i just built 5 lower custom cabinets minus the doors in a day for a kitchen

The only thing a custom cabinet box has more money in other than some labor is a upgrade material costs using a 8 ply birch plywood with formica faces instead of 5/8 MDFif you choose this material upgrade ,a difference of maybe a 100 bucks a cabinet at most.

Ideally the builder of a custom sleeper would be using the strongest & lightest products to build into a sleeper like this. I don't know what is used in this particular build, but all the wiring and plumbing and hvac work has to have a similar scope. Lightweight strong and compact.

This sleeper should also be able to last bouncing down the road for 20+ years without major hiccups; while a rv or camper trailer is wobbled apart in far less time with far less miles. Look at campers that are 5 years old vs new-crazy depreciation. And most leak, have pieces worked loose as well.

Not in any way saying I'd buy this or feel its worth it: just that there should be more to it than the regular 50% up charge that seems to apply to anything that you buy for trucks :/
