What about the cb shop at the petro I-40 exit 161? I know nothing about it but maybe someone elce has been there.

 

Haven't heard anything good about it. They seem to come and go there pretty regularly. I'd be wary.

 

Ray is the best of the best. My papaw, the original Kentucky Reject, went to him 40 years ago in Southhaven my dad went to him when he lived in Memphis and now that I live in Memphis he is the only one I would trust with my radios. He is honest, won't screw you around or out of money. Ray knows his stuff and if he can't fix it, then it's not able to be fixed.

 

If all of y'all are talking about the Pro-Tech CB Shop in West Memphis, I've seen soldering jobs by him. Total joke.

 

I know he is good because my tech has seen a lot of his work and said he was (of course my tech/personal friend too, is the best!!!)....plus like you said, he has a long list of satisfied customers for a lot of years.

I'm not sure if that is Ray's shop or not, but I also know he has had some other "help" in the shop, off and on at least, lately. This may be where the less than expert work is coming from. If you get Ray to do your radio, you will be fine.
