Hi. I dont have a CDL but I went to a driving school and failed the pre employment drug test. Havent smoked in some months but have a high body fat content so it prob stayed in my system longer than normal. I took a home test before going and passed so I was sort of surprised when I tested hot. It has now been about been few months since that happened. Dont smoke anymore and am completely clean. (pee and hair follicle) I want to apply for another company but Im wondering if this will come up during the hiring process and prevent me from starting this new chapter in my life. I checked my DAC and found out that none of my previous emplyers have never reported on my DAC. So in other words, my DAC is non existent. I have never been in trouble with the law and background check is squeaky clean. Note, I was never employed with the company. I only failed the pre employment test (not DOT) while in the trucking school. If it was never reported to DAC and I was never actually employed, again I have no CDL, will ther companies be able to find out about that? If so will it effect my chances of being hired through trucking school?
Thanks in advance

May I suggest a cabover section in this forum?

No no, you aren't on the wrong, but you'll just get more and better responses posting under the right section. Like looking for cereal in the cereal isle rather than looking for cereal in the meat department.

I'm not trying to discourage you from asking questions, but it just helps if it goes in the right category. But I'm just gonna warn you that you might draw some harsh criticism. Most of the guys here have seen this question time and time again, and you'll probably just get the same thing I told you, to just search around a little bit. And the mods like to keep the threads on topic, and we've drifted away from that, so I'm just gonna leave this here.
