I was wondering why h&r where able to obtain lmia's when other company's have not applied like bison and trans -x because of the new rules about advertising jobs to Canadian citizens first and Also the expenses of bringing workers in , h&r do advertise on kijij and Canadian newspapers they have a yearly subscription , I really thought seeing as the oil sands has more or less shutdown less demand for drivers and many drivers where let go and with the economy not the best there was no need to recruit overseas there are plenty of smaller reefer outfits to work for but they don't need to recruit overseas

I dont know why people on this forum are crapping all over a driver who just wants a better life or some adventure for themselves. It's not the people that screwed this program, it is the companies that took advantage and the government who was asleep at the wheel when they drew up the regulations.
If you are not First Nations then you came from an immigrant somewhere down the line. Even if you are First Nations, are you aware that man is not indigenous to North America?
I think a command of the English or French language should be a priority of course. Not to mention a background in the chosen profession.
But that's none of my business.

Now that was funny ! That's right up there with the Trans X NFLD division post !!

As posted, Eason's from Berwick NS isn't all bad, but for God's sake, learn where the high beam dimmer switch is !!!

Sir, don't you know everyone runs with their high beams now?

It's just one of the new disrespectful ways people operate trucks these days. I turn on my LED light bar and fog lights at least 15 times every morning at people and they don't even shut theirs off when I do it.
