I just came off a 2 year dedicated local job hauling steel for Nissan. Put a side kit on it & hauled 45,000lb on pin pallets loaded single file down the center between the frame rails. I left that lane in November & back to general stepdeck freight.....except heavy tracked/wheeled equipment.....because I don't trust her to take the strain.

That's why I joined this site, so I could hopefully get more clear answers since sometimes they aren't cut and dry. I've got 5yrs experience in flats and steps. Probably done 5 oversized. 3 with permits and 2 like explained above. 1-2 ft over. I still got a lot of learning to do. I think I know a decent amount but you can never know too much. The day that I stop learning is the day I hang up the keys.
