something to someone else."

That reminds me of a young hand telling me he doesn't get road rage he turns into a "road scholar" if they get him hot under the collar he "schools em about the road".FoolsErrand, SAR, stwik and 5 others Thank this. -
I specd a 53 wilson combo a couple years ago with 17.5’s. I spent some money on the wider tires with almost as high a weight rating as 22.5’s. Also invested in a CTIS, a mounted spare and sliding rear axle.
I’ve noticed those little tires get swallowed up by PA and NY potholes pretty good. I cut the sidewall out of one two weeks ago that way. The TA wanted $450. You also lose braking power too.Last edited: May 2, 2018

Something else to consider with a deep drop step....regular load levelers are too short.FoolsErrand, stwik, Tug Toy and 5 others Thank this. -
My deck sits at 34" I can ride a couple inches lower.
2011, Alutrec is the brand, made in Canada.
My truck is 99 FLD120. I can carry legal 49,000.
My drop is 24" I think. The lower bed is straight like a combo trailer.
I had a quote of $3,400.00 for a 4 piece load leveling ramp system installed with hangers.
Sliding front axle. Auto air system. Disc brakes. I don't feel much braking difference between these discs and my last trailer had 19.5 drums.
What I paid for the trailer was a Black Friday purchase in 2016. $18,000.00
At home Bridgestone and Continental tires cost a little under $375 installed.
Hancook a little cheaper.
I believe my tires have a j rating.FishFanatic27, rank and Tug Toy Thank this. -
xsetra and FishFanatic27 Thank this.

H
The price was one I couldn't pass on.
Also got paid power only (from chicago) in the direction to get it and picked a partial load 30 miles away from dealer in Vermont, delivered 75 miles from home. -
