Load board prices

    I am looking at subscribing to a load board service to widen my customer base. As a Canadian carrier I have to go to USA then back to Canada. The only load board that I can see is worth any money to me is transcore.ca I call them up and they want $585 + tax = $720. PER MONTH!!!!!! They have a free demo one that shows the actual loads posted but it does not give out any contact info about any loads. What are others finding with load boards? I haul reefer and am based in Ontario Canada. I am plated for most of Canada and all USA except for CT, MA, and east. I am finding the TQL and CHR boards pretty much useless.

    If you join OOIDA, one of their benefits is a monthly rate for this same load board at more reasonable cost. They refer to it as Members Edge, check their website for the details.

    Im willing to bet that is either an a. Yearly price or b. you need to remove a bunch of " a la cart" items nobody in their right mind would pay that

    No he is right they are high think it was $279 a month but that was the big package. load pricing master load finder freight trends ect I just added the small package it's $44.99 a month (I'm a ooida member) I have all the load boads but I still don't pay over $250 a month

    Anyone use loadmax.com? They called me with a $199/yr deal for their 10th anniversary, which is cheap....but I dont know enough about them to make a decision either way. I was going to join just due to price and at least check it out, but the saleman keeps hounding me after I told him 3 times I would call him back after checking with my boss...kind of turning me off now!

    They tried calling me 3 times a day for two weeks, finally blocked the number. If someone is 'hard selling' me, I figure that usually the hard sell must be to make up for an inferior product.
