I don't think he wants trucks before 2010 but that's because he doesn't want trucks breaking down on a load. He needs to keep our reputation with brokers really good because that's the revenue source. If your truck is in good shape, I'd talk to him about it. I'd also suggest bringing your own trailer.

 

What about orientation (where and for how long)and percentage pulling your own trailer?

 

Percentage is the same whether you have your own or not. You'll just get a rented one and get back charged for it. And it might be more expensive and you don't know the quality.
