Ya, thanks. That's the one I found. Just sent an email to their shipping manager to ask if they deal with independent trucking companies. I'll post back here if she responds or tells me to shove it.

One of the AR Nucor has a load board. I have a setup packet from Nucor, they require some goofy insurance things. not worth it for me with a stepdeck and >46k. but if I ever get a flat that can do 48k, sure, why wouldn't you ? kind of chaps my A55 they require goofy insurance, but if one of their brokers sends you then you are qualified.

Most all of us have Auto insurance. They probably require Commercial insurance which by definition means you have a terminal. I have a 45' flatbed and haul tons of loads for Nucor. Most all are 40' long and 45k. I can also haul 50' with 2' over the front and 3' off the back.

nah, it was pollution insurance and general liability with them as additional insured and some specific wording IIRC.

I was going to set up with Nucor but after I read their carrier packet I decided against it. One issue was at the plant near me they would not allow riders in the truck. My wife rides with me all the time.
