Load Boards and useless postings

    Is it me or are the power only load boards filled with repeated Load Out Amazon trailers for crap rates?? Not sure when the change happened but it seems each day there are fewer actual paying loads and noname brokers posting the same Amazon empty moves for no pay. Anyone else have tips on finding power only freight? New England is tough to run, nevermind scrolling through these BS postings.

    Power only never really pays well. Only recently because of Covid-1984. Now that bubble has popped so PO has returned to garbage rates. Either park your truck and wait until the next gold rush or sell it.

    What's wrong with leasing on with a company and pulling their trailer? Or am I missing something here

    you can lose up to 30 percent of the load leasing onto carriers, even more if they set up under line haul pay.
    but leasing on is for last resort I guess

    I’ve been trying to run power only out of NE. Just seems that 150 postings, 130 will be repeats of the same load out trailers that guys are running an Amazon scam with and no profit. Found 123 load board to have nothing in the area. Definitely a different market now with brokers trying to keep more than they pay out.

    There are plenty of people out there leased onto carriers that are very successful, even if the carrier holds 30%. Last resort? Nah. Just people who found something that works for them.
