One day after these two loads were posted, broker B reposted the rate at $10,000 and broker A reposted at $9,500. Today is day two, and broker A has caught up and is now also offering $10,000.........LMAO.
About that, Dwayne. IMO, about $4.00/loaded mile....of course the broker who just makes a few phone calls, sends a fax or two and doesnt have to purchase $5.00 gallon diesel might not agree with me.....LOL.
BTW....The third broker that has that load listed without a price, is probably the one that would pay. Just basing that on reputation within the industry. I hate it when shippers shop the same load through multiple brokers. I would imagine that it happens a lot of the time, if not most of the time, with Alaska bound loads.
Go to Yellowknife sometime. Cannot say that I was defending Illinois roads when I commented on how bad 39 was. Most of the Canadian highways have really went downhill this winter and are becoming quite rough.
It would be fun to do a three-way bargaining with them, but I dont run a flat and wont haul the loads, so Ill be nice and not call just to play.
