Paid - ITS and Members Edge. ITS can get spendy. I also use Landstar and CHR. But to get the best rates from Landstar you better have email on your phone with notification. Good rates are available but they go quick once posted.

I started reading all the pages, didnt see much about actual boards, more just chatter. -
-
Internet Truck Stop. www.internettruckstop.com. If you are a member of OOIDA, you can get a discount on the my members edge load board. www.mymembersedge.com. Another popular board is get loaded. www.getloaded.com. Get loaded is a little higher that the others. -
Now, ITS and Members Edge will have some duplicate but not a lot. -
Mymembersedge is a DAT board, which is the loadboard you see in most truck stops. When you post your truck on that board it is supposed to go to all of the DAT boards. They have several of them under different names. Mymembersedge is the only loadboard that I currently use. If I didn't have any contacts or know much about where to run, I might subscribe to other loadboards. When I used getloaded, I really loved how the board worked and how it was set up. They jumped the monthly fee from $35 to $45/month, I dropped my subscription. I didn't feel that it was worth paying that much more per month for basically the same information that I could get elsewhere for less money. I know others who dropped getloaded when they jumped up the subscription. I would think that they lost a considerable amount of business when they jumped their rate up that much. I know a couple of my friends who dropped them at the same time I did.
Starting out you may need more than one loadboard to get you going. You will find some of the same loads on all loadboards. Some of the major brokers have their own in-house loadboards. Those are available to carriers at no charge once you get set up with them. Most of the commercial loadboards will not allow you to subscribe until you have active authority and insurance. -
Im at Landstarbroker.com right now, where does it say what the load pays? -
Landstar's public board usually doesn't post the rate. You will need to call the agent who has the load. They only regularly post rates in their inhouse board. You cannot see those rates unless you are leased to them. -
-
That is true, you will have the rates if you register your equipment for the load alerts. They don't list the loads on their public board because they don't want their competitors to know the rate. I wish all brokers listed the rate for their loads. It could save a lot of time searching for a good paying load.
