M53, sometimes their 'regular' companies just don't have a truck in the area or the desire to head to the destination the load is traveling. Maybe it's an overbook where instead of 3 loads that day, the customer needs 5 moved.

I mean, afterall, that's how I found all my brokers was an initial load of a board that paid fair and I just started calling them direct.

Another myth.. Like Sly Fox said above. High dollar freight getting posted happens every day. Up to you to find it and capitalize...

Hello, I was wondering how Schneider has worked out for you? I am a new O/O with a 2004 Volvo 780. All paid for so no payments. I dont have a trailer yet but plan on getting one soon. I run Flatbeds. I also live on the east coast. Any advise would be great. Thank you.

OOida has a good load board powered by DAT and they offer lane rates, credit scores as extras. I have been using this board for three years and am very happy with the results. You still have to ask for more from the brokers though.

We just called on a load out of Mass from Swift. Just under $2/mile including deadhead. Wish us luck, we might need it hehehe.

Well at least it wasn't a first post promoting this worthless site. NO Direct Freight would be a better description.
