I use getloaded but they just uped the price to $45 a month. I am gonna do so checking around for others.***** I am completely happy with the board just upset they jacked the rate. It is well worth getting hooked up with one even if you only use it sometimes. It has always payed for itself.

While the rates on load boards aren't always the best accepting some loads will make you known to brokers . Many brokers don't put the best loads on the boards . They call O/O's that have given them good service with past loads .
luvtheroad and Driver's Line Thank this. -
Ain't that the truth. My phone hasn't rung for quite awhile. And when I call my favorites, which I still keep in touch, not much going on out here right now. Unless you want to go to the dirty side for $2 a mile. Not worth it in my book after tolls and all of the other headaches.

Don't feel alone . That's pretty much the way it is right now . Things are real slow for everybody that works for a profit rather than paying a customer to let them haul their load .Driver's Line Thanks this.

Yep, giving Schneider second thoughts too. A local outfit is pulling for me to bring my flat over and run expedite. I am seriously thinking about it, my buddy is doing good over there, making enough for me to live on. This outfit is getting round trip rates, real round trip rates. Pick up, deliver and go back to the house. This month my friend has done around $8 grand clear, and only ran a few days. Hmmmmm?
What to do, what to do. And I know some of the guys there, freight is slim, but the money is good, and they said they need my wagon. Wife is ready to pull her hair out along with mine.

Whats their phone #, my coveredwagon is getting lonely sitting next to the garage.....
Driver's Line Thanks this. -
I was waiting for that! Right now he needs a conestoga wagon, which I have.
What are you running, the covered wagon in the picture?
Mike -
Yeah and its only a 45' 96".
I thought of putting a conastoga on it and it would make it 102" wide but with the way things are right now its not gonna happen. -
I know what you mean there. But right now, he is only looking for one conestoga. I know the guy, and he is running just enough freight, at the right rates, to keep his guys from bailing. Everything is so touch and go right now, it is difficult to make an educated decision on who to work for. And I darn sure cannot afford to turn my authority back on.

Thats part of the reason I haven't jumped ship yet. There is really no place to go! The customer we run for is just shut down over the holidays so hopefully Monday something breaks!
