Does anyone know what the issue is with delays from Chicago and the states around Illinois?

In and out today with in an hour no problems
maybe it's YOUR shipper or Recievers issue or the broker and carrier had issues with rates.

Whenever I'm on the Tri-state or 80/94 these days, I'm amazed at how well it moves compared to 6-7 years ago...

you should have been around in the early 70s in chicago. like central meats rite off pershing and morgen in the old stock yards area they would give you a lesson about taking there time, like all day. then when you were unloaded they would try and steal half your meat hooks.

Apparently, Michigan Govenor signed in some law RE: right to work, which is a slap in the face to union people. So, the folks around Mi.-Il. etc are lagging behind in their duties.

Right-to-work means non-union employees are no longer forced to pay union dues to a union they are not a member of. I drove for a union company one time and it was a sight to see so many older gray haired men sobbing and wailing continuously. I was glad to leave that truck driver daycare center.

    I loaded a huge crane drum/gear and 2 boxes. About 38,000 lbs.
